Central Dalmatia

This area is called by the locals of Split-Dalmatian and extends from Trogir to Ploce in the south east of the mainland. 
It also includes the islands of Solta, Brac, Hvar and Vis.

Central Dalmatia is one of the most popular holiday resorts on the Croatian coast and is divided into four sub-regions:

  • Trogir & Kastela Riviera
  • Split- & Omis Riviera
  • Makarska Riviera
  • the islands of Hvar, Brac, Vis

Natural phenomena in Central Dalmatia:
